Typically, our work involves BIM modelling and detailing for Semi-conductor plants, Data centers, Warehouses, Airport, Dams, EV  plants, Casinos, Schools, Colleges, Hospitals, Bridges, Stadiums, Industrial structures, oil & Gas, Power, Commercial and Miscellaneous structures.

Esskay was established in the year 2011. Our approach to business is simple: Honesty, transparency, and commitment. That’s why our customers use us exclusively on long term basis. We have executed over 2500+ projects and some very complex, land mark and signature projects to AISC and Euro codes, several of them on a fast track basis. This gives us immense confidence to handle challenging projects of any size.

Structural Steel Detailing and Design

OUR RANGE OF SERVICES INCLUDES

  • State-of-the-art detailing, with 3D modeling capabilities for high-rise, industrial buildings & equipment support structures, shopping malls, convention centres and infrastructure projects.
  • Shop drawings for structural steel.
  • Value engineering for member sizing and connections tailored to meet the project and our customer’s requirements.
  • Prepare 3D model of structures and connections, exporting the nested cutting plans to various CNC machines directly using 3D model software, ensuring accuracy in fabrication and erection of myriad of bolted joints.
  • Temporary structures as part of the model to eliminate fouling of members and cables during site assembly and erection.
  • Complete material list, bolts list, and studs list extracted from model in advance for early and bulk procurement and effective site management.

Technology

We use Tekla structures software extensively and have around 240 licenses at present. It’s a 3D Building Information Modeling (BIM) software used in building and construction industries. Using Tekla we create and combine data-rich and highly constructible 3D structural models. It is particularly very convenient for large and complex steel structures, to navigate around them in real-time, and create fabrication drawings. The models thus generated can be simultaneously shared between team members in different geographic locations. This technology ensures 100% error-free drawings and very fast project turn-around. Tekla Structure models can be used to cover the entire building process from conceptual design to fabrication, erection, and construction management.

They support design through its phases, allowing better analysis and control than manual processes. When completed, these computer-generated models contain precise geometry and data needed to support the construction, fabrication, and procurement activities through which the building is realized.

BIM also brings the opportunity to try out solutions in advance before building the structure on site: with a constructable model, the structure can be prototyped virtually. Project can be understood and the design can be reviewed more easily. This helps us to guarantee its accuracy and completeness, and to visualize and evaluate alternatives in terms of cost and other project parameters. BIM has gathered compliments for improved communication between project parties and generally better quality.

Quality Assurance

We place great emphasis on the delivery of high-quality services. There are multi-level checks in place to isolate and eliminate errors. Our engineers are fully trained to ensure that every drawing we produce has the Esskay stamp of quality.

 

Quality Control

Qualified and trained checkers are assigned exclusively to each project and check the model and the drawings as a two-stage process. All the information that are required in the drawings are input into the model, which almost eliminates human errors in the drawings, and the model is thoroughly checked. Critical areas undergo two independent checks by different checkers. Whenever the model undergoes changes due to approvers comments, design changes, or internal QC comments, the model is back-checked for accuracy.

 

Control of Non-Conformance with the Corrective and Preventive Action Plan

When an internal quality audit results in a Non-Conformance Report, corrective action is triggered through the Corrective and Preventive Action Plan. The effectiveness of the plan is closely monitored. Each customer complaint is recorded, and a detailed analysis is carried out. Corrective action is then implemented with a view towards continual improvement. Esskay’s services are offered with the assurance of quality and accuracy.
